FAITH to FAITH - a pack walk

Today we had our first Faith to Faith dog walk. Great afternoon had by all and the weather even dried up for us!

We were met at the rescue by other walkers and then took the 2 mile pack walk all the way up to St Mary's Church in Hickling where we were met by a lot more pets and their owners.

A lovely pet blessing service was put on and all the animals had the chance to be blessed and thanked for their companionship.

Tea coffee and of course dog treats followed.

All the Dogs on the walk were amazingly well behaved and just trotted up the road together, not one bark or whine in the church the whole time. Some of the dogs met elderly folk and gave them some real comfort in a way only a dog can.

Thanks to St Mary's church for putting on such a lovely afternoon for pet lovers and we look forward to the next FAITH to FAITH walk where we hope to have an even bigger pack for the walk!
