An Intimate Chat with Tip the Saluki X

I've just been having a chat with the lovely "Tip" our beautiful Saluki cross.....

Tip has asked me to ask you why Milo the collie is getting all the adoption applications when she gives the best cuddles and walks a lot better on the lead than Milo...

I told her no it's not that because she walks REALLY nicely on the lead.

Tip then asked if it was because she isn't a puppy?

I said no Tip, it's not that because you are only just a year old and love to play like a puppy.

She wants to know is it cos she cant live with cats even though she LOVES HOOMANS and other dogs?

I told her no there are plenty homes out there that don't have cats or small animals.

She asked whether people don't find her as pretty even with her supermodel waistline and big Doughy eyes?

I reassured her it can't be that as she is so beautiful inside and out.

She asked is it cos I have a funny name?

I told her "no its a quirky unique name but we can change it if you like?"

Tip then asked if it was because she's not properly housetrained and makes pee-poo messes? She's a bit embarrassed about that in the kennel house.

I said it might be that but you will learn really quickly where to go toilet once you move into your new house as long as your new Hoomans keep you right.

She asked if her smile and hugs weren't nice enough?

I said NO your hugs are the best and you have the bestest and most beautiful big smile and personality so it really can't be that...

I reassured Tip that the perfect person is out there and that they just haven't applied to be your Hooman yet, I told her to be patient and we will find them, it just takes time and we'd rather get it perfect first time because we love you very much and want you to have the best life.
