Meet Blue – 7-Year-Old German Pointer Looking for an Adult Home

Blue is a gorgeous 7-year-old German Pointer with so much love to give. He’s a real sweetheart who thrives on companionship and enjoys being around people. Outside the home, Blue is fantastic – he happily goes out with dog walkers, is good with other dogs, and is friendly with everyone he meets. He’s a pleasure to handle and we never have any worries about him when he’s out and about.

At home, Blue forms strong bonds with his people and can become overprotective if he feels unsure about leadership. Because of this, he’s looking for an adult-only home with experienced owners who can provide clear boundaries and consistent guidance. If asked to settle in another room or left alone for short periods, he is absolutely fine, but he wouldn’t be suitable for a home with regular visitors such as daily carers coming and going.

Blue is clean in the house and has been the perfect guest while in our care. However, like many intelligent breeds, he could become destructive if left for long hours without company or stimulation. He would be best suited to a single person or a couple who will be consistent in their approach and who are home most of the time, so he’s not left alone for extended periods.

With the right leadership and structure, Blue will make an incredibly loyal and loving companion. He just needs someone who understands his need for boundaries and can give him the secure, stable home he deserves.
